Yummy dinner!

Hard to believe that it has been 22 months since the little Trioux blessed our lives with their birth.  They have been such a joy so far and I am sure that will never change.  They are getting to be so much fun and I look forward to all the fond memories that we are making everyday.

After 8 months on the market and only one offer, we finally SOLD the house today!  It has been a very long and drawn out process, but it finally came to an end and we got it off the payroll!  What a relief.  We had to drive down to Daphne mid morning to do the closing and didn't get back home until 12:30 AM.  To say we were a little tired would be an understatement.  At least its over and we can move forward.

My parents were good enough to get the Trioux from daycare and get them fed and off to bed.  Consequently, this is the only picture that I have.  They are actually 22 months old today (28th), but their usual group picture will have to be a few days old.  Oh well!

Jack was enthralled by my crocs.  He couldn't believe how much bigger they were than his pair.  He had to try them on.

Notice his little boxer briefs!

We had a fun, but quiet Sunday after our long day with the birthday party.  The Trioux were fascinated with their Dora sunglasses they got from the Lees Birthday Party and wore them most of the day.

"Paci Like A Rock Star!!!"

Could not believe they actually shared this!

Jack discovered how to use a sit n spin

With the whole family in town this weekend, we were able to load up and head to Birmingham for the Lees three year birthday party.  In addition to our Trioux and the Lee Triplets, there was another set of triplets that came and a set of twins! There were multiples a plenty!  We had such a great time and I am pretty sure as you can see below, the Trioux had a blast also!  I hardly got any pictures of the Lees, but got plenty of ours.  In fact, I got so many, I had a hard time choosing a few, so I included a bunch for this update.

When I got home from work Friday, there was no power at our house.  It was nice and cool outside and getting hotter in the house by the minute, but it was storming outside.  We had planned on having a big feast for dinner, but since we had no power, we had to improvise.  I fired up the big green egg and cooked out whole dinner on the egg and let the Trioux play in the carport.  They had a blast playing with some blocks.  We ate dinner a little later than normal, but it turned out great!

Keith and Paulette came into town for the weekend to visit the Trioux and and for The Lees Birthday Party!  Keith has been VERY busy at work and brought all his stuff so that he could work from our house.  Keith did put up a baby gate in the dining room so that he could get some work done.  As you can see, that didn't last long.

Kate thought she would help Papa put in some orders.

Addi and Jack are getting the cooler ready for the weekend.

We don't normally give the Trioux sweets, but tonight was an exception.  Crystal and the Trioux made me some cupcakes for fathers day and I had to share them.  They had such a good day and were being so good that we gave each of them a little piece.  They loved it!

The Trioux have now learned how to hug and kiss and do it all the time.  It is so cute to see them hug and kiss each other.  Jack puts his lips together like a little fish and will smack his lips.  Kate has a different approach and sticks out her bottom lip to give kisses.  Addi on the other hand is a little over zealous with her kisses sometimes and thinks that you should kiss with your teeth!  It's not a hurt full or harmful bite, but more of a love nibble.

Everyone being so sweet

Her own way of being sweet

What a sweet hug.

I had one of the best Fathers Day I have ever had!  Considering this is only my second, it wasn't too hard to top last year!  I was able to do all of my favorite things that I have come to love and cherish on the weekends.

I got up before the Trioux woke up and went to see my mom in the hospital before lunch.  After visiting mom in the morning and watching a movie with her, I got back home in time to see the Trioux before they went down for a nap.  During nap time, I helped Crystal finish up cleaning house and settled in to watch the rest of the U.S. Open.  We spent the rest of the afternoon playing outside with the Trioux in the pool and grilling out.  I also had a very fine Patel Brothers Cigar to cap off a great afternoon!

Our fun outdoor set up

I was able to get a good action shot of Jack going down the slide in their pool.  They had so much fun.  Addi loved to start on the shallow end, climb up the hippo and dive into the deep end.  I wish I could have gotten a picture of that one!  Maybe next time.
