Well, the sickness finally hit me and boy did it do a number!!!  I got up and actually tried to go into work for a little while because I had to get a few things done, but I didn't last long at all.  I rushed home and got right back in bed.  I had the worst headache that I have EVER had in my life and I could not keep anything down.  Every time I would sit up to try and drink some water, I had to run to the toilet and puke!  It was so bad.  My mom finally came over and gave me a shot of toradol and phenergan which knocked me out for the night.

Seems as though the last few weeks we have been fighting illness in this family like something fierce!  After coming home from the hospital, Crystal had to stay home with the Trioux a few days because they were running fevers and could not go to daycare.  My dad had to come over to reliever her one afternoon so she could at least go to work for a little while.

I have taught him well!

"MELMO!!! (elmo)"

Addi is always staying clean.  Sometimes I think she is obsessed with cleaning her feet.

This little Trioux LOVE their Papaw to get on the floor with them and charge them like a rhino!  It is so much fun to watch.  They laugh and scream and run in circles.  Great fun before bed!

While we were waiting for dinner to finish cooking, we took the Trioux outside to play with the water table for a little bit.  Addi was being so silly and would only drink water from the little sailboat that came with the table.  As you can see below, (sorry for the poor cell phone picture), she would even pour her sippy cup into the little boat and drink it from there.  She is such a silly little goose!

I know I have done the bath picture a lot, but it never seems to get old.  They were EXTRA dirty and needed a good long bath.  I made homemade chicken parmesan for dinner and needless to say, they were covered in tomato sauce.  Jack and Addi still like to roll and swim in the tub and lay on their sides.

One of the first things that Crystal wanted when she got out of the hospital was a steak dinner.  We still had some NY strips in the freezer and thawed them out for everyone.  The Trioux are getting to where they can eat just about everything we eat.  We cut up their steak real small and they LOVE it.  With Papa Keith and Papaw helping them out, they are getting pretty good at using their forks.  We had a great feast and we so happy that mommy was home!

Before Crystal ended up in the hospital, Nana, Grammy and Crystal were all successful in cutting Addi's mullet off!!!  They were able to cut it off while she was eating dinner.  I think she looks great without it.  She looks like a cute little girl.

On another note, Crystal is finally out of the hospital and at home.  We are still waiting on some test results to come back to find out the whole picture so I will do a post about it when we know something for sure.  Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

Jack is still obsessed with putting things on his feet and legs.  Tonight it was their puppet.  What a funny little man.

Crystal is still in the hospital but they think they may have narrowed down what it might be.  Will update when we know for sure.  Please keep praying for her.

Jack stayed home with Nana all day and LOVED the individual day!  He seems to be doing much better.

Crystal is still in the hospital and they are running A TON of tests to see what is going on.  Will update more later.

To make a long story short and not bore you with too many details, over the last few weeks/months, Crystal has just not been feeling right and getting sick a lot.  Over the last week, it has all come to a head and she feels downright awful!  She had an appointment with a rheumatologist on Tuesday to start investigating what is going on.  Well, she landed in the hospital and they are trying to figure out what is going on with her.  She is having high fever a few times a day and she feels tired and weak.  She also has some joint pain and swelling.  Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

On top of that, I got a call from the daycare at 2:30 telling me that Jack had a fever of 103!  I was able to get him a doctors appointment and we were able to get him checked out.  Doctor said that it really just appeared to be a viral fever and to keep him out of school and watch him closely.  Weirdest part of the whole saga was that at the same time he was running a 103.7 fever, Crystal was running a 104.2 fever in the hospital!

After leaving the doctor, I had to go pick up Nana because her car broke down!!!  Can I please have a DO OVER!

My poor little buddy!

Papa and Grammy brought the Trioux a new toy this weekend.  It is a duck that stands up and sings "If your happy and you know it."  It moves its head and mouth while singing and shakes its arms.  When it gets to the part about stomping your feet, it will hop up and down.  They are fascinated by it!  Kate in particular has become very fond of it.  She really won't let anyone hold it other than her.  Its pretty sweet.

On Sunday, Paulette got the table out again and let the Trioux have fun.  Jack is always the first to take his shoes off and often will use it for things other than protecting his feet!

While I was grilling steaks for everyone on the Big Green Egg this weekend, we brought out their new water table and let the Trioux get soaked for a little while.  Keith and Paulette were in town and my parents came over too, so we had a house full!  The Trioux were having a blast splashing and drinking the water out of the table.  Jack would dunk his little cup in the water and then dump it over his head.  After they were nice and soaked, my dad thought it would be funny to join in and pour water over Kate's head.  Well, what ensued was nothing short of hilarious.  Next thing we knew, each one was pouring water over the others head!  Believe it or not, the Trioux found it just as funny as we did and didn't get into the first fight!  It was so much fun to watch!

Playing nicely with the water

Everyone had to drink some.

Here comes Papaw to start the fun.

It started with Kate getting poured on by Papaw.

Then she got Jack.

And then got him some more.

Even Addi got into it.

Kate got Addi.

Addi after being soaked by Kate.

Getting it from Papaw.

Then she got it from Jack.

And to complete the cycle, Jack poured it on Kate.

On another note, who has been standing in the chairs?!?!

This really do encapsulate Addi's little personality.  She dances to her own little drummer.  Too adorable!

Getting close to tying my own shoes!

What do you think?  Tennis shoes, no pants and PJ top?

What about from this angle?

See Ya!

This thing has been sitting out in the rain for months and they never play with it, unless its filled with nasty water!
