LEE & BOUDREAUX SOCIAL GATHERING

I know this update is WAY late, but we had such a great weekend that it took a while to go through all the pictures and narrow it down to just some that I could post, so as usual, there will be two or three posts today to make up for it.

This weekend was the first triplet play date that we have had, not including their birthday, since the Trioux has been old enough to actually enjoy a play date with other kids. The Lees agreed to come up to our place to have lunch and let the kids run around. It was so nice to have people over that fully understand what having triplets is all about. For example, understanding that at any given time, there is probably going to be one toddler pitching a fit or crying about something that someone else did to them. It makes for a loud household that we are used to and it was nice to not have to explain that its like that most of the time.

Unfortunately the weather was not to cooperative and we had to spend most of the time inside, but it didn’t seem to affect any of the kids. It took a little while, but all the kids started to warm up to each other and actually played together a little bit. We let them play for a while and then the men folk fired up the grill and cooked burgers for everyone. We cooked full size burgers for the adults and mini sliders for all the kids. As it usually goes for parents of multiples, the kids got to eat first and all the adults had to wait till they were done to eat. I know most of you out there can relate to that one!

Overall, it was a great time and I am looking forward to another get together with the Lees. Enjoy a few of the pictures!
