BUDDY FRUIT = TODDLER CRACK!!!

I tend to think that the Trioux eats a pretty well balanced diet. At every meal, we try to give them a protein, a starch or carb, and a vegetable. For the most part, they love most food we put in front of them. It has taken Jack a while to warm up to vegetables but now he loves them as much as his beloved carbs. He has also started to eat more proteins and meats than he used to, so he is coming along nicely. Kate pretty much loves all food you put in front of her. She likes them all equally, but sometimes she gets a little picky and won't eat certain things at times. Addi, our usual protein girl has become somewhat of a vegetable feign! She can't get enough at dinner. All three are eating well except for one thing... Fruits!

For a little while, Kate and Addi loved berries. Raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, they couldn't shove them in fast enough. That wore off pretty soon and they didn't want them any more. Jack on the other hand would never eat them in the first place. They would all eat VERY small pieces of apple cut up, but only a few bites. We have tried whole bananas with them and they acted as if they were some sort of poison and wouldn't even touch them.

A few weeks ago, my mom was in the grocery store and saw these little juice tubes called buddy fruit. They are all natural, sugar and preservative free fruit blends in a squeeze tube for kids. She picked up a few to try and lets just say the rest is history! I am not sure if these things should be legal or not! The kids go completely nuts when they even see the package in the fridge. They literally sound like a pack of monkeys when you pull them out after dinner. Jack is the biggest addict of all. The kid that before now would not even try a piece of fruit can't get enough. Believe it or not, his favorite is Mango-Banana!

Here are a few pictures of the fun. Unfortunately, I didn't get any of them "All hopped up on "Buddy Fruit!"
