CELL PHONE PICTURES

As I said in my last post, with the Trioux out of town, I am at the mercy of Momma for my daily pictures.  Here are a few of the ones that Crystal got of them climbing all over EVERYTHING in Papa and Grammys' house.

POSTER CHILDREN

Since the Trioux are in another state, this is what I have to post since this is what they (mommy) sent me.  I have posted this before so I am pretty sure its getting old, but all I am going to say is that they Trioux should be the spokes toddlers for Buddy Fruit!

MEMORIAL DAY

Let me start this post off by saying Thank You!  Thank you to all the service men and women out there, past and represent that have fought or are fighting the the very freedom that we have at this very moment.  Being a Navy brat myself, I know a little of the sacrifice that families make in order to provide us with our freedom.  I was lucky and didn't have a parent that was in a combat situation, but that doesn't make my gratitude any less.  With out the men and women of our armed forces, I would not be able to sit here and update this blog that you are reading.  I know this is a few days late, but it is how I feel.  Thanks again and keep up the good work!!!

With that said, we took the kids to the Senoia Memorial Day Celebration while in Georgia.  It was HOT and very sunny.  We forgot to pack the Trioux's hats, so we had to buy some.  I am kinda glad we did, because we found the perfect ones for them.  Jack actually wore his most of the day, well until lunch at least.  The girls wore theirs the whole time.

As with most large public events, we were the center of attention quite a bit.  At one point, when we were crossing the town square headed to lunch, the MC at the stage was going over some announcements and stopped what he was saying and asked over the loudspeaker, "how much to ride in that train?"  Needless to say, EVERYONE turned and watched us walk across the street.  We had a ton of people ask for pictures and got all the standard questions.  We have gotten so used to it, that it really doesn't bother me any more.  I have just come to realize that overall most people are just curious and don't really think before they speak.

The Trioux lasted until about 2:00 and then it was nap time.  We headed back to the house, which was only a few blocks away.  As usual, Addi was the first to pass out in the Choo-Choo.

Couldn't decide between lemon aid or water.

What a handsome little boy, aside from the mosquito bite!

So cute in her little hat.

This was right before we headed back home and she fell asleep.

She loves this hat! She can adjust the brim to her liking.

I love this expression.

She wouldn't let go of this cup and straw.  She carried it the rest of the day!

POOL PARTY!

When you have this many kids, you can have a pool party on your own.  This was the first time the Trioux has seen a big pool, let alone get in one!  It took them a little while to get their bearings, but once they got used to it, they had a good time.  Luckily, the pool was in the shade for most of the afternoon so we didn't have to worry as much about them getting burned.

We started out in their little boats.  They got to where they would kick their little feet and learned that if they kicked hard enough, they could move around.  When they got bored with being in those, we got each of them out and floated them around.  They were a little freaked out, but overall they did great.  They even enjoyed Papa Keith tossing them up in the air!

Looking good!

GARDEN TRIOUX

Before lunch and nap time, we got the Trioux outside and let them explore the grandparents garden.  They roamed around, mostly together, looking at everything.  Kate was fascinated by the big fountain and all of them loved climbing up and down the stairs to the front door.  After exploring the garden for a while, they checked out the two ponds and the goldfish.  It was all capped off with a rock hunting expedition in the driveway.  After lunch and a nap, we took them to the neighbors house and got in the big pool for the first time (next update).

Having fun around the fountain

"Anybody home?"

"How do we get out of here?"

Kate stood here by herself staring at the pond for almost five minutes.

Crystal had to refill "her" water cup three times!  Wonder why?

Kate: "My rock is better than yours!"
Jack: "So.  I have more than you!"

Addi: "I don't need to compare cause I KNOW mine are better!"

Serious Kate

Focused Addi

"Where are the fish?"

"I see them!"

05/28/2011

While visiting the Grandparents in Georgia, we always have to visit our favorite little restaurant, Founders.  This is a wonderful restaurant only a few blocks from Keith and Paulette's house that we love very much.  Keith and Paulette have become quite the regulars there so we get a few privileges that some don't.  The Trioux have almost become their little mascots.

This is an amazing restaurant to say the least.  As their website shows, it is almost as if you were transported back in time when you walk into the place.  You feel like you are back in the 20's or 30's.  It has one of the coolest old wooden bars I have ever been to.  Their menu is second to none as well.  They pretty much anything and everything to please everyone.

We have such a good time every time we come here.  The staff is so accommodating to the Trioux.  All the servers are amazing with the kids and try to understand the challenge of trying to eat a nice dinner with three toddlers.  They had our table all set up and already had their dinner planned out.  Keith and I had a New York Strip and were actually allowed to go back and pick out or own steak!  We were treated like rock stars!  When it came time for all the food to come out, they Trioux were each served on their own little white plates.

If you are ever in the Atlanta area, I HIGHLY recommend stopping by the little town of Senoia and eating at Founders Restaurant & Bar!  Tell them em The Boudreaux Trioux sent ya!!!

Jack checking out the wine menu.  I told him he had a few more years until he could order from that one.

Addi wanted the star treatment

No, she didn't have any beer in that sippy!

Jack still can't figure out which hand he wants to eat with.
