20 MONTHS!!!

Hard to believe that The Boudreaux Trioux is now 20 months old!!! Seems like just yesterday they were turning 1 and starting to walk! Only 4 more months and we will have three two year olds on our hands! They are growing so much every day and learning new things all the time. We are so very blessed and are loving every minute of this adventure.

SAFE PLACE


As most of you know, last night was a very SCARY night for all of us that live in north Alabama. We had more tornadoes around us than I have ever seen in my life! By the grace of God, we were very lucky and did not have any hit us directly. Can't say that for all the poor people in and around Tuscaloosa. Watching the thing on TV was almost surreal and really made me value my life and my family even more than I already do!

We got in our safe place in the interior of the house and had a fun little time with the Trioux cooped up in a tight place. They did pretty well. Crystal is probably going to strangle me for posting this picture, but is one of the only ones that I have.

Please pray for all the people that have been effected by all this bad weather!

SIBLING LOVE

Every now and then, there are moments of complete peace and tranquility in our crazy little home. This was one of those rare moments that the Trioux got along and was very loving to each other. I had just got them home from daycare and they were in great moods. I asked Kate to giver her sissy a hug and this is what happened. They spent the next 5 minutes giving each other hugs and being sweet to each other. After 5 minutes, things went back to normal and Kate was taking things from the others and Jack was trying to hit Addi in the head. At least I was able to capture these few minutes to remind myself that they truly do love each other!

1st Skinned Knee

My poor little Addi skinned up both her knees pretty bad. She was a trooper though and didn't cry at all! What a tough little lady!

HAPPY EASTER!!!

We had such a great Easter weekend! All the grandparents were here and this Trioux loved it! I got up pretty early and made coffee (for the adults) and started to get breakfast ready for everyone. We got the Trioux up and let them rummage through the Easter swag they got. I think they had a good time playing with all the eggs and the pooping farm animals!

Last but not least, the roast beast!

SHARING FACES

For the first time that I can remember, the girls shared the front car of the wagon and did not fight at all! They actually enjoyed being pulled around together.

BAABELS (Kate's Version)

This was a great start to a wonderful weekend. I got off work a little early and was able to get home and cut the grass so I wouldn't have to worry about it all weekend. The kids absolutely LOVE bubbles and consequently, Papaw bought them an endless bubble machine. Needless to say, it was a HUGE hit. The Trioux had a blast running around the yard chasing bubbles. Enjoy.
