Crazy Last Month

Bad blogger! Bad Blogger! Bad Blogger!!!

Ok, now that I got that out of my system. It has been way to long for this, but things around the Boudreaux household have been completely NUTS!!!! I am a little short on time so I will just go thru a quick rundown and then have pictures for your enjoyment. Lets face it, most of you come here for the pictures anyway.

Since our last entry, we got another new stroller!!! I know, I am a stroller-holic, but at least I can admit it. We ended up getting a Baby Jogger Summit Mountain Buggy. This thing is amazing. We love it and the kids love it too! Very easy to maneuver and get around in. It is very wide, but most newer stores can accommodate it pretty well. We have taken it to SAM’s, Target, and Publix. At Publix, you can even fit another cart down the isle when we are in it. We took them to the Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival in it the first weekend we had it. It was sooo much fun! We were the talk of the festival.

Of course we had Easter also. My mom was able to come down and spend a long weekend with us. It was so much fun. We were able to take some good pictures and have a good time.

And now for the biggest development in the last month, we lost our nanny and started taking the Trioux to daycare! We had kinda planned on taking them to daycare sometime late in the summer, but not really this early. She came to me one day and said that she had a job offer that she couldn’t refuse. I did not blame her at all. She has done so much for us and become a part of this family so all I could do was hope for the best for her. To make a long story short, in a matter of two weeks, we went from being spoiled with a nanny, to having three infants in daycare! WOW! And no, it didn’t take long for them to get sick. Lets see, it took all of three days!!! Then mommy and daddy got sick with the GI bug! Not fun at all. Friday afternoon Crystal and I were laying in bed in complete and utter pain and had to call my mom in for the weekend to help. She was able to come and we barley made it thru the weekend. Kate stayed out for over a week. She would get better and then go backwards. Hopefully we can make it longer than a week coming up. We will see and I will keep ya’ll posted.

That about sums most of it up for now. Take care and until next time…

  1. What a bummer about the nanny :( It is no fair, especially when everyone got sick sooo fast. It this is what is to come...I would get another nanny! The pictures are sooo cute, as always! But where is mom...surely she is still around;)

  2. why do you find it easier to have them all side by side?
I used to dream about having a pram with the kids seated one behind the other...
It was too hard for shops, pavements, lifts... etc..
