ONEONTA VETERANS DAY PARADE

In the morning, we took the Trioux to their first parade!  Overall they enjoyed it.  Except when the motorcycles and the fire engine came.  The loud noise really freaked them out.  They really liked the bands that came by and most of all loved it when Mommy rode by in the parade!  There were some really cool classic cars in the parade, but my favorite was the 1965 VW Beetle!  I had two growing up and one day soon, will have another one.  We finished off the day with a tailgate party at the house with a bunch of people over to watch the Alabama vs. LSU game.  It was a very long but very fun day!

PAPA!!!

Papa Keith came in town for the weekend and nobody was happier than Kate Boo!  She sure loves her Papa.

STRAPPED IN

We had to pull the highchairs off to clean the kitchen chairs and Addi was obsessed with trying to strap Kate to the chair.  She tried for at least ten minutes to strap her to the chair.

COLD NIGHT = MOMMY'S HOMEMADE POT PIE!!!

Mommy made her first homemade chicken pot pie of the year and it was DELICIOUS!!!

SHHHHHHH.... MOMMY HAS A HEADACHE

I had to go pick up the Trioux from daycare because Crystal had to go home from work with a bad headache.  When we got there, Papaw was trying to keep them quiet, but as you can see, that was an impossibility.  They thought it was a game and were screaming at the top of their lungs.  Luckily, mommy was feeling better and in the back of the house so she couldn't even hear.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

We really didn't put too much thought into Halloween this year.  To be honest, we weren't planning on doing anything at all this year, but got invited to one of Crystals co-workers house to walk around with them.  So we did the best we could and put the Trioux in their little Bones jammies and went like that.  The girls put their fairy wings on.  Everyone looked cute and they seemed to enjoy it.  We actually got a few "trick or treats" out of them.  They only got scared once, when a mummy jumped out in front of them.

RED BEANS AND RICE

The Trioux got their first taste of my red beans and rice.  Addi had at least two helpings!  All in all, it was a pretty big hit!
